Used to measure the speed/RPM of diesel and gasoline engines in real time. The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer and displays the engine speed on a liquid crystal display.

Product Structure

The instrument consists of two main parts:

Main Machine / Tachometer Unit
Sensor Part

The sensor is connected to the right side of the instrument through a connector.

Engine Testing Method

1. Gasoline Engine Testing

Pull out the antenna on the upper part of the tachometer.
Place it at any position of the engine.
Can be used in contact or non-contact state.
Start the engine.
Turn on the power switch.
The instrument displays the engine speed in real time.

2. Diesel Engine Testing

Attach the diesel engine speed sensor to the high-pressure oil pipe of the diesel engine.
Start the engine.
After normal engine operation, turn on the power switch.
The instrument displays the engine speed in real time.

Adjustment Note

Due to different pressures in diesel engine high-pressure tubing, the instrument includes two gain adjustment modes. If the displayed speed is unstable, adjust the gain switch on the right side of the instrument panel.
